SMALL is the New Big
One of the biggest trends this year is smaller scaled furniture and smaller homes. Since the economy has taken downturned the past few years, many people are purchasing smaller homes that are affordable and comfortable to live in. Because of this new trend, the furniture market has responded with smaller scaled furniture. During our visit to Highpoint Furniture Market we noticed chairs dramatically reduced in size, but surprisingly comfortable. Showrooms were set up to visualize how a cozy living room could be set up in a smaller home, but yet still feel like it fits the scale of the room. By purchasing a smaller home, you can afford to have room in your budget to purchase quality fabrics and furniture. Who needs all that space anyway?
